Terms of Use

1. The service

The Site is a personal portfolio about Nont’s work, plus optional Chat with Dave (an AI Twin on this Site). There are no visitor accounts and no paid subscriptions on the Site. Optional tips via Ko-fi are separate and handled by Ko-fi.

2. Acceptable use

You may use the Site for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Use the Site for illegal, harmful, or abusive activity.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Site or its security.
• Bypass or defeat rate limits, consent gates, or other protective measures.
• Scrape or programmatically extract content or chat replies in a way that harms the Site or violates these Terms.
• Reverse engineer non-public APIs or systems except where local law allows.

We may limit, suspend, or block access (including Dave chat) if we reasonably believe you are abusing the Site.

3. Your input

If you use Chat with Dave or email us, you are responsible for what you submit (“Input”). Do not put secrets, passwords, or sensitive personal data in chat that you are not comfortable sharing with our processors.

You represent that you have the rights needed to provide Input and that Input does not violate law or these Terms.

4. AI output (Dave)

Chat with Dave uses machine learning (Open Typhoon). Output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate. Output is not professional advice (legal, medical, financial, hiring, or otherwise). Do not rely on Output as a sole source of truth. Evaluate it yourself before acting on it.

Dave speaks about Nont for this portfolio; replies are AI-generated. Do not misrepresent Dave’s Output as human-written when that would mislead someone in a material way.

Output may not be unique — similar replies can appear for other visitors. Logging and processors for chat are described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Third-party services

The Site relies on third parties such as hosting (Vercel), AI inference (Open Typhoon / SCB DataX), telemetry for consented chat (New Relic, EU), and optional Ko-fi. Their terms and privacy notices may also apply. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control. See Open Typhoon’s notice at opentyphoon.ai/privacy.

6. Intellectual property

The Site’s design, text, and branding are owned by Nont or licensors. You may view and use the Site for personal, non-commercial browsing. You may not copy or redistribute substantial Site content without permission, except as allowed by law (for example fair use / fair dealing).

If you send feedback about the Site, we may use it without restriction or compensation.

7. Availability and “as is”

The Site is provided as is and as available. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features (including Dave chat) may change, be rate-limited, or be unavailable.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nont is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or reliance on AI Output. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms. Material changes to chat rules may also appear in the in-product consent notice.
